Napoli striker Edison Cavani revealed in a Uruguay press conference that he would take great pleasure working under a coach like Mourinho or Pellegrini.
It promises to be one of the summers biggest transfer sagas, but Edison Cavani shed light on where he might ply his trade next season in a pre-confederations cup press conference. The Serie A top goalscorer, 26, has been continuously linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and a host of other European clubs, with Chelsea believed to be leading the race to secure his signature.
When asked about Jose Mourinho, Cavani responded saying: “The Special One? It would be a pleasure to be managed by someone like him”, Cavani then went onto say “Chelsea? I don't know if they've made an offer for me but I know that working for a coach like Pellegrini or Mourinho would be a great pleasure”.
Mourinho is planning to revolutionise Chelsea in the coming months and has reportedly put the prolific striker atop his summer shopping list, with Fernando Torres rumoured to being heading the other way.
Napoli have supposedly slapped a hefty £55 million price tag on their star striker, a fee that both Chelsea and Manchester City could meet.
