Reports from coming from Talksport last week indicated that Roman Abramovich was ready to back his Manager Andres Villas Boas and fund a £150m overhaul on his ageing side, with Cavani said to be high on the list of targets.
But Claudio Anellucci (the players agent) said: "Chelsea? Cavani said that Napoli is good so there is no reason to worry because he has no problem with staying. It is a problem that concerns Napoli but not us.
"Rumours are part and the game of football, but I think of serious things, not the rumours. Cavani has had a happy Christmas and had a chance to rest. He disconnected the plug for a few days to recharge the batteries.
"During the holidays I do not think about business affairs, I only received phone calls from friends."
