Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho insists
Chelsea will see off
Manchester United's late charge and retain their Premiership title.
Recent stutters by the Blues, including last weekend's stalemate with Birmingham City, have allowed United to close the gap at the top of the table to seven points with six games remaining.
But Carvalho is confident Jose Mourinho's side has enough class and confidence to stay ahead of United.
"United are on a roll and doing well. But they don't have enough energy to be champions," he told The Sun.
"Even if United beat Arsenal this Sunday the title will still be Chelsea's.
"We have a big enough advantage to win it for the second consecutive year.
"We are the best team in the Premiership and we have shown this in the last two years.
"After going out of Europe our aim now is to get the double. The league is practically in the bag and we also want the cup to show a lot of people who have criticised us that we are still the best."
