Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho has admitted that Blues boss Jose Mourinho was furious with his players after Saturday's shock 3-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.
The runaway Premiership leaders produced their worst display of the season as they crashed to only their second defeat this term and the Portuguese star admitted that the players' display had not impressed Mourinho.
"Mourinho got very angry with us and was more disappointed with the performance rather than the defeat," Carvalho told the Daily Star.
"He made his feelings known in the changing room after the game.
"The defeat against Middlesbrough is a setback for us in the Premiership.
"However, we are going to learn from this defeat and it will stand us in good stead for future games.
"We are not in a crisis and I am sure there are many teams who would accept just two defeats from 26 games in the league."
Despite the surprise result, Chelsea are still 12 points clear of second-placed Manchester United with only 12 games of the season left.
