Carvalho committed to Blues

Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho has snubbed reported interest from Internazionale after pledging his future to the Stamford Bridge club.

Carvalho, 31, has been linked with a summer move to the Italian champions, where he would link-up with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

But the Portugal defender, who was brought to Chelsea by Mourinho from FC Porto in 2004, insists his future remains in London.

"I only think about returning stronger next season at Chelsea," said Carvalho.

"This season has not been positive for me due to injuries. Now I am working to recuperate and return at the best level next season.

"I want to improve because I am not happy with this year on a personal level."
