Carlos Tevez back at Manchester City

Carlos Tevez trained with Manchester City today as Micah Richards broke ranks to admit his loss would be a massive blow for the mega-rich club. The Argentina striker, who has handed in a transfer request at City, was driven into their Carrington training after coming back from a four-day break in Tenerife. He arrived in a huge black Hummer at midday before disappearing inside their training HQ. Soon afterwards, Tevez was out training with the rest of the first-team squad. Back in the old routine: Carlos Tevez (centre) trains with the rest of City squad         HAVE YOUR SAY...     Who do you blame over Tevez's fight to quit Manchester City? Carlos Tevez has rocked Manchester City by handing in a transfer request at Eastlands. The striker claims he is homesick and that he has fallen out with City chiefs, while the club insist they have done everything to help their captain. So, who do you think is at fault for the dramatic developments? TELL US WHAT YOU THINK Tevez won't speak to manager Roberto Mancini as the Italian is set to stay in his homeland ahead of Thursday's Europa League match away to Juventus. Richards, writing on Twitter, revealedthat Tevez's departure would hit City badly but that the club would have to move on. The City defender said: 'I can't say much on Carlos and he's a top guy, but whatever happens - onwards & upwards. Gaffer will be in control & we're focused on next game. 'Seen so many players come and go but Carlos would b a big loss if he left id b gutted same sort of feeling as when Dunney [Richard Dunne] and Superman [Stephen Ireland] left.' Mancini will launch an attempt to keep Tevez at Manchester City at a training-ground meeting on Friday. The 26-year-old is not in the provisional squad of fringe players selected for the trip to Juventus for Thursday's Europa League dead rubber. Instead Tevez is scheduled to meet City boss Mancini - who is already in Italy - at Carrington when they return at the end of the week. High on the agenda will be the issue of the club captaincy. Mancini is considering taking it off him but will not make the decision until after he has spoken to the starstriker about his exact reasons for wanting to leave. Mancini has been left bemused by Tevez's decision and wants the Argentina international to explain it. Like many other City senior officials, the Italian believes Tevez's move has been driven in part by his adviser, Kia Joorabchian, something the player has already denied. City also claim to have damning emailevidence showing how Joorabchian asked for a contract extension for hisclient just a few weeks ago. This is denied by the Tevez camp. With City officials scornful of the statement from Tevez that was released by his PR team on Sunday night there is no sign of this stand-off ending as Rooney's did at Manchester United. Rooney signed a new deal just two days after admitting he wantedto leave. City's team in Turin will be almost identical to that which beat Red Bull Salzburg recently, though Italian striker Mario Balotelli will not travel for fear of the unsavoury attention he may receive from Juventus fans.
