Carlo: Lamps fit to face Hammers

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Frank Lampard has recovered from a hernia operation to start against West Ham on Saturday.[LNB] The midfielder underwent surgery as recently as two weeks ago in Germany and he is expected to be ready for the trip to Upton Park.[LNB]The Blues currently top the Premier League table after three wins in a row, with 14 goals scored.[LNB]The Italian revealed to the Daily Star: "For sure, Frank will be fit for the West Ham game."[LNB]However, Ancelotti denied that Lampard deliberately put club before country after the 32-year-old pulled out of the national squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland.[LNB]"No, we didn't decide at the start of the season to do this now," he said. "After the Stoke game, Frank was in a lot of pain.[LNB]"So he decided, ­after talking to the club doctor, to resolve and remove the problem immediately."[LNB]Meanwhile, Ancelotti has spoken about bringing 'felicity' to Chelsea supporters after the champions' unerring start to the season.[LNB]The West London side racked up 103 goals last campaign and the former AC Milan boss is happy to bring 'joy' to football lovers alike.[LNB]He told The Mail on Sunday: "Our aim is to play football to give joy, to give felicity to the people, to the fans and not just the Chelsea fans."
