Carlo Ancelotti will not discuss any interest Chelsea may have in Wayne Rooney, even though Roman Abramovich is reportedly keen on the striker.[LNB] Ancelotti expects to continue fielding questions regarding the Manchester United striker, but would rather stay out of the debate.[LNB]Rooney could be sold by United as early as January after Sir Alex Ferguson revealed on Tuesday that the England international has confirmed he wants to quit Old Trafford.[LNB]With the 24-year-old's contract expiring at the end of next season, United are expected to cash in as soon as possible in order to obtain the highest possible fee.[LNB]Chelsea have been heavily linked with a bid for Rooney and are likely to be one of just two Premier League clubs able to afford the former Everton youngster.[LNB]Reports have claimed that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is ready to give the green light to a big offer for United's star man.[LNB]But, speaking after the Champions League win over Spartak Moscow, Ancelotti again stressed he does not want to talk about players at other clubs.[LNB]"I think that I have to answer this question for a lot of time in the future," said the Chelsea boss. [LNB]"I want to be clear, I don't like that some coaches speak about my players and I don't want to do the same. [LNB]"I have respect for Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson, it is their problem and I don't want to speak about this."
