Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti believes goalkeeper Petr Cech could be fit and ready for the start of the 2010/11 season.[LNB] The Czech Republic international has been struggling with a calf injury but could feature in next weekend's Community Shield clash with Manchester United.[LNB]Cech made 43 appearances for the Blues last term and the 28-year-old played an important role in the club's Premier League-winning campaign.[LNB]Hilario has been the man between the sticks in pre-season so far but Italian tactician Ancelotti hopes Cech will return soon.[LNB]"We have some problems with the goalkeepers but it can happen in these moments of the season," he told Chelsea's official website.[LNB]"Now we have to maintain these keepers and we hope Petr Cech can recover well before the start of the season."[LNB]Star striker Didier Drogba is also a doubt for the start of the campaign with a groin problem - but the Ivorian is recovering well.[LNB]Drogba might play a part in the midweek clash against Hamburg, and Ancelotti also revealed a boost regarding defender Alex.[LNB]"Drogba we will have a look at during training tomorrow (Monday) and on Tuesday he could play against Hamburg," he added.[LNB]"He is healing very quickly. When we come back to London I think Alex can also train with us but we have to wait for (Jose) Bosingwa."[LNB]Chelsea were beaten 2-1 by German side Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, as they slumped to another pre-season defeat.[LNB]However, while Ancelotti was disappointed with the performance, he realises players returning from the World Cup need to get up to speed.[LNB]"That was their first game, obviously they had their problems but this is normal," he remarked. "They needed to play 45 minutes, the next game they will play more. They will be ready when the start of the season comes."
