Carlo Ancelotti has decided against making additions to his Chelsea squad, such has been the impressive start made by the West London outfit. Chelsea moved to the summit of the Premier League at the weekend following the most comfortable of victories against Burnley. Following a quiet summer of recruitment at Stamford Bridge, the Italian tactician has been linked with making big-money offers for the likes of Franck Ribery, Ashley Young and Lazio's Goran Pandev. Roman Abramovich is said to be ready to open the chequebook but Ancelotti has declared himself to be more than content with his lot. "We have trust in these players," said Ancelotti. "We don't want to change things by bringing in other players. "We have a very good squad."
