Carlo Ancelotti's tourist guide to Milan ahead of Chelsea's clash with Inter
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has taken time out from his preparations for the Inter Milan clash to compile his tourist guide for the Italian city. [LNB]In an interview with Chelsea's official website, former AC Milan player and manager Ancelotti gives his top tips for visitors. [LNB]Here's what the Italian legend had to say...[LNB] [LNB]Carlo, which is the must-see attraction for supporters in Milan?The best thing to see is the Duomo, the big cathedral in the centre of the city.[LNB]And the best place for shopping?Thebest shopping is the Via Montanapoleone, it is very expensive, too muchmoney. I have never bought anything there, only to see things in thewindows. It is too expensive but good to look at.[LNB] Imposing: The duomo dominates the centre of Milan[LNB]What about the place to eat? Eating is my favourite thing there, but there are so many places to eat, there isn't even one area I could recommend more than one other. The fish restaurants are very good. [LNB]How about to grab a coffee? Again it is every bar, Milan has very good coffee. [LNB]How should fans get around? The best way is the underground, it is the easiest way to move because the roads are very busy, everybody is always rushing [LNB]Where is the best place to sit outside and relax?There are not a lot of parks, but the Parco Sempione. There is a castle near there, the Castello Sforzesco. [LNB] Stunning: A view of the beautiful Lake Como[LNB]What about a trip out of the city? Close? Como, Lake Como, is around 30 minutes to an hour away, and it is very nice there, beautiful. [LNB]What is there that is special only to Milan? It isn't on in this moment, but when there is a week of the fashion shows with all the models. It is a special time for the city. Milan.[LNB]And what is your overall favourite thing to do? Eat!
