[LNB]Asked whether he would take steps if he felt a player's private lifewas compromising his performances, Ancelotti replied: 'For sure. When aplayer's private life affects the professional life, then it's aproblem for me. [LNB]'If a player comes back to the training ground and he's not focused or doesn't work hard, I can use "different ways".' [LNB]Crocked: Cole faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines [LNB][LNB]Ancelotti has already shown that, despite preferring not to keep hisplayers on a tight leash, he is as ruthless as any of his managerialpeers when he feels players are not giving their all. [LNB]During his time at AC Milan, Ancelotti frequently left Ronaldinhoout of his team. But Ancelotti insists that, despite the furoresurrounding Terry, he has yet to detect any lack of professionalismfrom his skipper or any other player. [LNB]Ancelotti also claimed that Terry's absence against Cardiff issimply a case of him wanting to give his skipper a rest while NicolasAnelka and Petr Cech have also been given the weekend off. [LNB]'Why wouldn't he be in Dubai?' questioned the Italian. 'I could havegiven him two or three days of recovery anyway. He's played every game.We did the same with Nicolas now - he'll have two days off. I don'tknow if he'll go to Dubai or to France.' [LNB]Ancelotti raised hopes that Cole will be fit in time for the WorldCup. He added: 'It's impossible to find another player like AshleyCole. When a player has an injury, it's normal that he's depressed. [LNB]'But after the depression, you have to look forward. You have torest, recover and work. I'm sure he will be back before the time thedoctor said.'[LNB] PICTURED: Terry plays the family man as he reunites with wife in DubaiBridge can play with love rival Terry at World Cup, says Man City boss ManciniAshley Cole WILL play at the World Cup, insists Carlo Ancelotti as Chelsea star undergoes surgeryCHELSEA FC
