Carlo Ancelotti wanted by new Roma owners

New Roma owner Thomas DiBenedetto has cleared the way for a summer move for Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti by telling current coach Vincenzo Montella he is on trial.

'Montella has seven games to show us his worth, because we have to be in the Champions' League next season,' said the American businessman, who pointedly refused to answer questions about Ancelotti.

Roma are sixth, six points behind fourth-placed Udinese, whom they face next Saturday.
