Carlo Ancelotti insists he won't quit Chelsea

Carlo Ancelotti's fragile relationship with Chelsea continues despite the Italian manager coming out fighting on Monday. [LNB]His team may be top of the Barclays Premier League and already into the knockout stages of the Champions League - Arsene Wenger is one manager who would surely swap places with him - but Ancelotti feels he is being undermined by the club's owner, Roman Abramovich. [LNB]It's not that bad: Ancelotti with Florent Malouda at Chelsea training on Monday[LNB]He denied he was close to resigning, but Sportsmail understands the Double-winning manager is demanding to be shown more respect for the work he has carried out at Stamford Bridge. [LNB]The sacking of his 'friend' Ray Wilkins as his assistant and the growing pressure on another ally, Frank Arnesen, is causing him dismay. The coach is in trouble when the team doesn't produce results, but this is my life and I like my life. [LNB]'I'm not disappointed about this. I'm disappointed because Chelsea have lost matches. 'I don't know if it's enough to clarify my position today to close these rumours and speculation. These rumours are totally untrue. [LNB]'I have my contract until 2012, here, in this club. I've said a lot of times that I'd like to stay here. I love not just this club, but these players. I have a lot of confidence in these players, in this squad, so there's no reason to change my ideas. When he was asked if he had considered quitting, he said: 'No, no, no. I didn't. There is no reason to think about my position. My position in the club is very clear.' [LNB]He was stopped by a club official from talking about the sacking of Wilkins, but said: 'I'm sad because the team doesn't win. I maintain the same relationship with Ray, even if we can't work together. [LNB]'Nothing has changed in my personal behaviour with Ray. The club decided to change and I have to stay focused on my job with another assistant.
