Burdisso plays down Chelsea link

Inter Milan centre-back Nicolas Burdisso has denied speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea this summer. Reports in Italy claimed Inter had included Burdisso in a a swap offer for Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho, but the 28-year-old insists there has been no contact with the Stamford Bridge outfit and he is happy at Inter. "I have spoken to (Inter coach Jose) Mourinho, who told me that he is happy with me and that I have a lot to give to Inter," Burdisso told calciomercato.com. "I have no intention to change team." He added: "My relationship with Mourinho is excellent and I hope that it remains like that in the future. "I have learnt a lot with him. "Last season was a positive year for me and my wish is to remain at Inter." The Argentina defender made 21 league appearances for Inter last season.
