Buffon staying with Juve

Gianluigi Buffon's agent has distanced the World Cup winning goalkeeper from a January switch to Chelsea.
The world's most expensive goalkeeper - who moved to Juventus from Parma in 2001 for £35.5million - was linked with the London club as emergency cover for the injured Petr Cech, who fractured his skull last weekend.
But, despite the Turin club's demotion to Serie B following their implication in a match-fixing scandal, Buffon's representative Silvano Martina doesn't believe a move to Stamford Bridge is imminent.
"We will obviously be honoured if a club like Chelsea was to make an offer for Buffon," admitted Martina. "But I can tell you that he will not leave Turin in January.
"Gianluigi's very happy at Juventus. He had lots of offers in Italy and elsewhere this summer and turned them down.
"But he made a decision to stay in Turin because he wanted to repay the club for helping him become famous and being one of the best in the world."
