Bridge can play with love rival Terry at World Cup, says Man City boss Mancini

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini expects Wayne Bridge to answer England'sWorld Cup call and play alongside bitter love rival John Terry.

With Ashley Cole - who is having an operation today on his fractured ankle - ruled out for three months, Bridge is now first in line to replace the Chelsea left-back in next month's friendly with Egypt and possibly the World Cup itself, if Cole's recovery does not go as planned.

The pair have been at odds following Terry's alleged affair with Bridge's former partner Vanessa Perroncel, the mother of the former Chelsea full-back's son.
