Bridcutt banned for Hatters

Chelsea loanee Liam Bridcutt is suspended for Stockport's clash with Southampton after being sent off on his debut. Hatters boss Gary Ablett had to receive special dispensation for Bridcutt to feature against Brighton last weekend after having the maximum registered amount of players on his books but the youngster was shown a red card with seven minutes left of the 4-2 win. Ablett has no fresh injury concerns and will only be without midfielder Matty Mainwaring who is out for six months with a broken leg. Stockport will be looking for their first home win of the season when they face Saints following two defeats, although their away form is notably better with four points from two games.
