Bremen in Pizarro talks
// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs is confident of bringing Claudio Pizarro back to the club.[LNB] The Peruvian striker spent the whole of last season on loan with the Bundesliga outfit before returning to Chelsea over the summer.[LNB]Pizarro has expressed his determination to fight for a place in Carlo Ancelotti's side but Allofs still hopes to lure him back to Germany - this time on a permanent deal.[LNB]"We are deep in talks with them [Chelsea] and we hope to be successful before August 31," Allofs told DSF television.[LNB]"And just to bring an end to all the rumours, if we do sign him then we would be buying him and I think that is also what Chelsea want."[LNB]Bremen striker Boubacar Sanogo will be hoping the deal goes through soon as he prepares to move to St Etienne.[LNB]The Ivory Coast striker has attracted the interest of the French club but Allofs has made it clear he will not be going anywhere as things stand.[LNB]"We only have three strikers so we cannot let him go," he said.[LNB]
