Chelsea's domination of the Premiership has been reflected in the nominations for the 2006 Players' Player of the Year award.
The six-man shortlist for the Professional Footballers' Association honour features Blues trio Frank Lampard, Joe Cole and John Terry, who won the trophy last year.
The Chelsea stars will face competition from Arsenal captain and two-time winner Thierry Henry, Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
The England forward is also nominated for the Young Player of the Year award, which he won last year.
Rooney's United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo is also in the running for the junior trophy, together with Arsenal's midfield general Cesc Fabregas.
Charlton's in-form striker Darren Bent, West ham defender Anton Fedinand and Tottenham's flying winger Aaron Lennon complete the shortlist.
