Blues deny Eto'o approach

Chelsea have denied making an offer for unsettled Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.
Eto'o, 27, is expected to leave the Catalan club this summer after being told he is surplus to requirements and claimed in a weekend interview that Chelsea, Spurs and Internazionale had all made approaches to sign him.
However, the Stamford Bridge club have rejected the suggestion that they are keen to land the former Real Madrid and Mallorca striker.
"We deny making a bid or any offer for Eto'o," said a club spokesperson.
Instead the Blues are expected to up their interest in Robinho despite the Brazil forward revealing on Monday that he is happy to stay at Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a £30million move to Stamford Bridge and, despite claiming he is keen to stay in the Spanish capital, chief executive Peter Kenyon is determined to push on with his club's interest.
New coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is reported to have made the former Santos star his only transfer target of the summer following his earlier capture of Deco.
"It's well noted we've shown interest," confirmed Kenyon.
"We've had discussions with Madrid over it and they're ongoing.
"The window is still open and we're still talking to Madrid."
