Blues turn to Youngsters
Chelsea are likely to blood a number of youngsters in their Carling Cup third round tie against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Centre-half Jeffrey Bruma, full-back Patrick van Aanholt, midfielder Gael Kakuta and striker Daniel Sturridge are all set to start.
Captain John Terry and midfielder Frank Lampard will miss out with rib and hernia injuries respectively while a number of first team players will be rested. Goalkeeper Hilario is also out with a rib injury sustained in training.
