Blues drop to second

But they could regain lead tomorrow Chelsea lost the leadership of the Premier League this afternoon as Manchester United leapfrogged the Londoners once again. Trailing by one point, United beat Spurs 3-1 at Old Trafford – Ryan Giggs hit a brace of penalties while Nani scored with a deft chip. Spurs had briefly equalised through a fine Ledley King header.  Chelsea can regain the lead if they defeat Stoke City tomorrow at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will welcome back Ashley Cole after a lay off but his major headache will be who plays up front. Will Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti opt for a Didier Drogba with Nicolas Anelka pairing or will he rest the Ivory Coast striker who is suffering from a hernia. My guess is that Drogba will be rested. Chelsea will win the title if they win their three remaining games. Next week they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool before finishing off their league campaign with a home match against Wigan Athletic. The expected line-up tomorrow for the Blues is Petr Cech, Paulo Ferreira Branislav Ivanoivc, Alex and Ashley Cole. In midfield expect captain Frank Lampard to be paired with Joe Cole, Michael Ballack and Yury Zhirkov, with Anelka and Florent Malouda up front. Captain John Terry is absent due to suspension.
