Blow for Chelsea and England as Frank Lampard ruled out for a further two weeks

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed today that Frank Lampard will miss the club's next two games and certainly England's next Euro qualifier against Montenegro.  [LNB]The 32-year-old will miss out because of his slow progress recovering from a hernia operation following an operation at the start of the month. [LNB]Lampard will miss the clash with Arsenal, plus Marseille in the Champions League, as well as England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro on October 12.[LNB] Sitting it out: Both Lampard and Drogba are absent for clash with Marseille[LNB]Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba sits out the last of his two-matchban against Marseille as will the injured pair Salomon Kalou (thigh)and Yossi Benayoun (calf), but Gael Kakuta has recovered from his backinjury.[LNB]Ancelotti said: 'Frank cannot play tomorrow. We need to have more time than we expected for his rest. He will be ready for the next game after the international break.[LNB]'He has not played for us so he will not be able to play for the national team.' [LNB]Even though Chelsea are without the services of Lampard, Salomon Kalou, Yossi Benayoun and the suspended Didier Drogba, Ancelotti insists the squad is capable of coping with such losses against Didier Deschamps' side.[LNB]'I think I have a lot of options,' he added. 'We have to consider Daniel Sturridge and Gael Kakuta, it is normal during a season to have two or three injuries, this is not a problem.[LNB] Building up a sweat: Chelsea players are put through their paces at Cobham training ground[LNB]'Experience is a good thing to have as a squad. Young players need to have experience. Once they play, the experience will come.[LNB]'We have a good mix in the squad with young players that areimproving and players with experience. They have experience enough toplay fantastic games.'[LNB]Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel insists the Blues are coping without the talismanic figure of Lampard.[LNB]'Frank is an important player for this team, we all know that," saidMikel. 'He has shown his consistency over the years but right now he isinjured.[LNB]'It is a massive loss for the team but we are coping well withouthim. We have lost one game without him.
