Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Barclays Premier League where Blackpool host Chelsea to wrap up the weekend's fixtures. The Seasiders will hope to notch up three points to take them away from the relegation zone, but Carlo Ancelotti's side will aim for a victory that will strengthen their hold on a Champions League spot. Email me your thoughts on the action at dan.ripley@dailymail.co.uk[LNB] Blackpool 1-3 Chelsea (8pm)Blackpool: Kingson (Halstead 67), Eardley, Baptiste, Evatt, Crainey, Puncheon, Vaughan, Southern, Carney (Phillips 73), Reid (Ormerod 72), Beattie.Subs: Taylor-Fletcher, Grandin, Varney, Kornilenko.[LNB]Goals: Puncheon 86.[LNB]Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires (McEachran 74), Essien, Lampard, Zhirkov, Drogba (Kalou 55), Torres.Subs: Turnbull, Ivanovic, Malouda, Ferreira, Anelka.[LNB]Goals: Terry 20, Lampard 63 pen, 66.[LNB]Referee: Mike Dean (Wirral)[LNB]22.00: For Blackpool, that late goal means they remain 15th on goal difference.[LNB]Having just lost their game in hand they remain two points off the bottom three...it's getting pretty congested down there.[LNB]That's all from me this evening, but don't forget to follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Champions League tomorrow where Arsenal travel to Barcelona hoping to book a quarter-final spot. Thank you for following.[LNB]21.57: But it's results that count and that win for third-placed Chelsea not only pulls them three points clear of Tottenham, but they sit only nine points behind Manchester United with a game in hand.[LNB]Carlo may say his side are not thinking about the title but they cannot be counted out just yet.[LNB]21.54: Bloomfield Road is the place to be, this from OptaJoe:[LNB]14 - Blackpool have now equalled the 38 game season PL record of scoring & conceding in 14 home games and still have five to play. Goals.[LNB]Full-time: Blackpool 1-3 Chelsea[LNB]90+3min: That is the first thing Kalou has done wrong all night. Eight yards out he blazes a cross over but he knows the hard work is already done.[LNB]90+2min: Poor from Terry, Puncheon clips a ball to the near post and as the centre-back casually lets the ball past him, Beattie just misses out on getting a vital touch past Cech. Great finish here.[LNB]90min: Three minutes added on as Evatt just clears the crossbar with a shot.[LNB]89min: What a chance to get another! Phillips finds space behind the defence and he cuts the ball back to Ormerod. The unmarked striker should hit it first time but he elects to control first, and once he does shoot it's blocked by a charging Terry.[LNB] Consolation: Puncheon hits a late reply for Blackpool[LNB]86min: GOAL! BLACKPOOL 1-3 Chelsea[LNB]For effort alone Blackpool deserve this. Beattie plays a first time pass after receiving the ball from Crainey and Jason Puncheon is on the end of it as he fires into Cech's bottom corner. A well worked goal.[LNB]85min: That's another let-off for Blackpool, Kalou is unmarked as a corner is swung in but his volley clears the crossbar.[LNB]83min: Unlucky from Phillips, he beats the offside trap by standing on the halfway line and after running half the pitch fires wide across Cech's far post, should have done better but he ran a long way there.[LNB]80min: Sting has completely gone from Blackpool and it's all Chelsea attacking. They want another goal with Torres looking to get the monkey off his back with his maiden Blues strike, and Lampard searching for his hat-trick.[LNB]77min: Torres manages to make what just be his first contribution all evening as he stabs a shot straight at Halstead.[LNB]74min: Chelsea make their final change with Josh McEachran on for Ramires.[LNB]73min: Blackpool make their final two subs as Brett Ormerod and Matt Phillips are on for Reid and David Carney respectively.[LNB]72min: Second change from Chelsea as Florent Malouda replaces Yuri Zhirkov who hasn't had a great evening.[LNB] Threesy does it: Lampard scores his second and Chelsea's third of the night[LNB]70min: Blackpool are all over the place and Chelsea seem to be playing with loads of freedom now they have all three points sealed.[LNB]I fear for Blackpool's goal difference too here.[LNB]67min: And I believe unless I am mistaken this will be Blackpool's fourth keeper this season. [LNB]Gilks, Paul Rachubka and now Kingson are injured, so Mark Halstead is on for his Premier League debut.[LNB]66min: GOAL! Blackpool 0-3 CHELSEA[LNB]Just too easy, Kalou has done more than Torres and Drogba put together as he plays a brilliant through ball for Frank Lampard to run onto and shoot across goal past Kingson.[LNB] Silenced: Lampard celebrates doubling Chelsea's lead[LNB]63min: GOAL! Blackpool 0-2 CHELSEA[LNB]It's a certain penalty as Evatt's sliding challenge only succeeds in taking down Kalou, and Frank Lampard steps up to send Kingson the wrong way and the Blues into a 2-0 lead. [LNB]62min: PENALTY (Chelsea)[LNB]60min: Champions getting on top, Lampard lets fly across goal which deflects wide for a corner.[LNB]Kingson looks to be struggling in the Blackpool goal and he also looks like he wants to come off.[LNB]58min: Another Chelsea chance as they win a free-kick 30 yards out.[LNB]Lampard fires low, hard and hopeful in the box but Blackpool win a free-kick after an infringement.[LNB]56min: Chelsea's first threat of the half as they win a corner. Lampard sends a low cross in but Essien's shot from inside the box is quite a bit over the bar.[LNB]55min: Finally Chelsea make their sub and Kalou is on for Drogba.[LNB] Orange crush: Torres (centre) found it difficult to make an impact on the game[LNB]53min: After an age, a Chelsea striker starts warming up and it's Salomon Kalou and not Nicolas Anelka who looks set to replace the Ivorian.[LNB]52min: Drogba is really struggling though and he has signaled to come off...his team mates are not bothered though as they continue to pass it around.[LNB]51min: It's Drogba that clears the ball from under Beattie who goes down by his own accord.[LNB]Drogba after going down himself is back on the pitch after getting some treatment off it.[LNB]49min: More panic in the Chelsea box as Beattie goes down again after Reid swings in a free-kick.[LNB]Again the striker does not appeal but the champions are really struggling to deal with this early storm.[LNB]48min: Blackpool still on the front foot so as they go in search of an equaliser. Vaughan firing over from 20 yards.[LNB]46min: Early penalty shout as Beattie goes down under the slightest shirt-tug from Bosingwa. Technically it's a penalty but he goes down so easily not even he appeals for it.[LNB]No Mark Clattenburg this evening of course.[LNB]Second-half: No changes as James Beattie and Reid get us underway again.[LNB]20.57: It's been a top game too. Both sides have played their part in a game that has flowed nicely after a few early injuries.[LNB]Blackpool will fancy taking at least a point from here though and no doubt Holloway will get that message across during the interval.[LNB]If I was Carlo Ancelotti I would just have a big board up in the dressing room with 'Complacent' written in big bold capitals...that should do the trick [dusts hands.][LNB]20.53: Big cheers from the home crowd as Mike Dean blows for half-time.[LNB]They may be 1-0 down but they know their side has given everything that half and are perhaps a little unlucky they are still behind.[LNB] Balancing act: Andy Reid (left) and David Luiz tussle for a loose ball[LNB]Half-time: Blackpool 0-1 Chelsea[LNB]45+2min: Late sting from Chelsea. Ramires starts the attack after a well won interception outside his own box, and he nearly finishes it as he hits a 25 yard strike that forces Kingson to parry behind.[LNB]45+1min: There minutes added on and Carlo Ancelotti doesn't look too happy with how this game is starting to flow.[LNB]43min: After a wobbly five minutes following that goal, Blackpool are ending this half much the stronger side.[LNB]Andy Reid the latest to have an effort, but his 25 yards curler fails to trouble Cech as it sails wide.[LNB]40min: Bit worrying for you Blackpool fans out there, this from StatManJon:[LNB]OMEN: #Chelsea unbeaten in every #EPL game scorer John Terry has netted in since Dec 2003. Since scored in 16 (before tonight): W13, D3[LNB]39min: I'm losing track of this! Moments after Drogba is marginally offside as he storms clear on goal, Blackpool go straight up the other end and hit another superb cross that Luiz does well to head clear of danger.[LNB]36min: Wow it's all Blackpool. Nearly a bit of fortune there though as Evatt's cross looks to be dipping into the top corner before Cech tips it behind.[LNB] Denied: Puncheon lets fly with an effort that Cech tips onto the post.[LNB]33min: But now Cech is very lucky! Jason Puncheon dances through the defence and from the edge of the box he fires a low shot that Cech struggles to divert onto his near post. He should have made that look more comfortable and that was so close to being the equaliser.[LNB]31min: Blackpool throw men forward but you can see that they desperately miss the intelligence that Adam provides them. Petr Cech has had a few good crosses to deal with but not much else.[LNB]28min: Bosingwa is causing havoc down the right. Stephen Crainey is having an awful time trying to prevent him reaching the penalty box and the Portugese full-back is certainly justifying his surprise selection.[LNB]25min: Really is crucial Blackpool keep their heads here, they look to have lost their concentration since the goal and if they are not careful they could get a hiding here.[LNB]David Luiz is the latest player to go down after a collision of heads with Ian Evatt, he's back up after collecting a few thoughts.[LNB]23min: It's all Chelsea now, moments after Torres has a shot blocked, Jose Bosingwa rifles a shot from an angle that is heading for the top corner until Kingson tips it behind.[LNB] Lead by example: John Terry (centre) heads Chelsea into the lead[LNB]20min: GOAL! Blackpool 0-1 CHELSEA[LNB]And that's our first one! Frank Lampard curls an out-swinger into the six yard box and an unmarked John Terry heads it downwards and past Kingson. Perfect attacking header.[LNB]19min: Still no shot on goal as we approach the 20 minute mark which I am slightly surprised about, it has not been that sort of game.[LNB]16min: Essien has gone down in a lot of pain there but it was an excellent challenge from David Vaughan to steal the ball from him with a sliding tackle[LNB]Again the Ghanaian should be fine to continue but it shows Chelsea are in for a battle here.[LNB]15min: End-to-end but the final ball is lacking. Lack of shots on target but I can't see this staying goalless.[LNB] Keeper's ball: Blackpool's Richard Kingson claims ahead of Chelsea's Fernando Torres[LNB]12min: Chelsea win a corner and after a training ground routine goes wrong, David Luiz curls a shot well over the bar from 20 yards.[LNB]10min: This is probably the most defensive I have seen Blackpool all season. The five in midfield are doing their job and Chelsea are just struggling to find a way through here.[LNB]7min: Chance for Drogba but he just can't catch up to Torres' flick-on and Richard Kingson awkwardly collects the ball from the Ivorian.[LNB]Kingson is in fact down injured but he looks more winded than anything and should be fine to continue.[LNB]6min: Both sides keen to attack. The hosts have had a couple of dangerous crosses already but with no one on the end of them. Torres has also been in on goal but was flagged for offside[LNB]3min: First glimmer of a chance. Frank Lampard chips a free-kick in the box but Michael Essien's flick-on sails easily wide.[LNB]2min: Well I said hardly a spare seat there does actually appear to be quite a few in the stand opposite the tunnel, the visitors boss the early possession.[LNB]Kick-off: Drogba and Torres get us going.[LNB] Early exchanges: Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti (left) shares a few words with Blackpool manager Ian Holloway before the match[LNB]19.59: My predictions:[LNB]Blackpool 0-3 Chelsea (but no Torres strike)[LNB]19.57: Out come the players, hardly a spare orange seat in the house.[LNB]I seemed to have poured cold water over Blackpool's hopes tonight, but Ian Holloway at least still thinks his side can pull off another shock victory.[LNB]19.54: Home fans are packing out the ground once again and are in full voice despite there being no players on the pitch. Win, lose or draw they just love the whole Premier League experience - good to see in the top flight.[LNB]19.51: The home fans have waited a long time to defeat Chelsea at the seaside.[LNB]The last such occasion was back in 1965 when Blackpool triumphed 3-2. To think England hadn't even won the World Cup then.[LNB]19.48: Anyone who remembers the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge earlier this season will know that Blackpool looked like a fish up a tree in their 4-0 defeat.[LNB]In fact they were four down after just half-an-hour and only the combination of Chelsea easing up and awful finishing stopped the score from being A LOT more.[LNB] Up and running: Salomon Kalou (left) celebrates Chelsea's first goal with Florent Malouda, as the champions cruised to a 4-0 win against Blackpool earlier in the season[LNB]19.45: Ian Holloway (as only he can) sums up his side's predicament:[LNB]We have no Adam, no Campbell, no Matt Gilks, no Craig Cathcart. That's the spine of my team all ruled out and without a spine you're a jellyfish. But hopefully the boys I send out there tonight will be up for it.[LNB]19.42: Speaking of the squads, Chelsea striker Drogba returns to the starting line-up to partner Torres up front.[LNB]The Ivory Coast international was a substitute in last Tuesday's victory over Manchester United but is recalled at the expense of Nicolas Anelka.[LNB]Two other changes made by manager Carlo Ancelotti see Jose Boswinga and Yuri Zhirkov come in for Branislav Ivanovic and Florent Malouda.[LNB]Blackpool boss Ian Holloway makes four changes from the 4-0 defeat at Wolves just over a week ago.[LNB]With striker DJ Campbell suspended after being sent off in that game Andy Reid is recalled, along with Stephen Crainey, David Carney and Jason Puncheon.[LNB]19.39: But the home side are missing the influential Charlie Adam and top scorer DJ Campbell who have so often saved Ian Holloway's side this season.[LNB]And I'm worried about that defence. Blackpool have been very even to score against, and I don't expect an attack containing Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres to be even half as wasteful as Tottenham were in Blackpool's last win.[LNB]19.36: Blackpool have been very much hit and miss at home, but they taken some big scalps already this season.[LNB]Liverpool and Tottenham have already left Bloomfield Road with no points and a tail between their legs, while Manchester City and Manchester United were left very fortunate to leave the seaside with all three points.[LNB]19.33: As they line up from Bloomfield Road:[LNB]Blackpool v ChelseaBlackpool: Kingson, Eardley, Baptiste, Evatt, Crainey, Puncheon, Vaughan, Southern, Carney, Reid, Beattie. Subs: Halstead, Ormerod, Taylor-Fletcher, Grandin, Varney, Phillips, Kornilenko.Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Essien, Lampard, Zhirkov, Drogba, Torres. Subs: Turnbull, Ivanovic, Malouda, Ferreira, Kalou, Anelka, McEachran.Referee: Mike Dean (Wirral)[LNB]19.30: Back in August this fixture to me would have been a near certain victory for the Champions, but such is the way the Premier League has panned out this season, the inconsistencies of both sides have left me changing my mind on predictions for this game all day.[LNB]What I do know is there is never a dull moment when Blackpool are around and ?50million Fernando Torres HAS to break his duck at some point. We should have a top game on our hands and the team news for it is on the way.[LNB] Fired up: Chelsea's John Terry (centre) and Fernando Torres will aim to seal a league double over Blackpool[LNB]  Chelsea boss Ancelotti admits: There is life in the old Drog yet!Chelsea keeper Cech warns rivals: We haven't given up on title dream yetAll the latest Blackpool news, features and opinionAll the latest Chelsea news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Carlo Ancelotti, Fernando Torres, Ian Holloway, Yuri Zhirkov, David Carney, Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, Charlie Adam, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard, David Vaughan, Jose Bosingwa, John Terry, Petr Cech, James Beattie, Paul Rachubka Places: Liverpool, Barcelona, United Kingdom
