Yossi Benayoun has wished his former Liverpool team-mates well under Roy Hodgson - but is focusing his own energies on getting fit for Chelsea.[LNB] Benayoun swapped Anfield for Stamford Bridge in a £6million summer move after relations with former Reds boss Rafael Benitez deteriorated.[LNB]Upon signing for Chelsea, the Israel midfielder accused Benitez of "trying to destroy my confidence" but with Roy Hodgson now at the Liverpool helm, Benayoun wishes the club well.[LNB]"I had a great time there and it was a privilege to play at such a big club," he told Sky Sports News. "Everyone knows all the problems at the club but hopefully they have started anew with the new manager and I hope things change. I wish them all the best."[LNB]For his own part, Benayoun is working his way back to sharpness after a brief injury hiccup in training.[LNB]"I trained with the (Chelsea) first team for the first few days then I injured my groin and rested for a week. I came back only a few days ago and I'm sure I'll be fit in a few days.[LNB]"I'm enjoying every day and getting closer to everyone. Hopefully I'll be here a long time and be successful.[LNB]"I can only say I will work hard as I did at Liverpool and do my best to prove I deserve to be here."
