New Chelsea signing Juliano Belletti has set his sights on wining silverware in his first season in England following his arrival from Barcelona.
The 31-year-old Brazil defender agreed a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge on Thursday after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee believed to be around the £4million mark.
Chelsea turned their attention to the international right-back - who scored the winning goal in the 2006 Champions League final against Arsenal - after seeing a fresh bid for Sevilla's Daniel Alves rejected by the Spanish club.
"It has all been a great surprise," he told Chelsea TV.
"Just yesterday I talked with Chelsea. We reached an agreement and so did Chelsea and Barcelona with no problem.
"I am a typical Brazilian full-back. I like to get forward up the wing.
"I know a bit about what the Premier League is like.
"I know it's a tough league but I'm coming here with plenty of ambitions and desire. I want to win trophies."
Belletti had been with Barca for just over three years, having moved to the Camp Nou from Villarreal in the summer of 2004.
