Becks set to miss Chelsea

David Beckham has hinted he is unlikely to make his Los Angeles Galaxy debut in Saturday's high-profile friendly with Chelsea.
The 32-year-old England midfielder was hoping to make his MLS bow against the Blues at the weekend, but now seems unlikely to play as he remains troubled by an ankle injury.
Beckham picked up the injury while on England duty in Estonia last month and aggravated the problem during his final few appearances for Real Madrid.
"I've been having a lot of treatment but at the moment it doesn't look good, I'm afraid," he said while attending Thursday's MLS All-Star game against Celtic in Denver.
"The swelling's still there. I'm here for five years, not just Saturday."
Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas hinted Beckham would not be risked against Chelsea.
"It's a big game, it's an important game, but guess what? There is going to be another one next week and another one the following week," he claimed.
"There is a possibility that he is going to play and if there was no possibility that he wasn't then we would just tell you that. I think it's pretty clear."
