Becks hails 'brilliant' Ancelotti

David Beckham says AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is a brilliant coach and one of the game's greats. The vastly-experienced tactician, who has been in charge of the Serie A giants since 2001, is being strongly tipped to replace Guus Hiddink at Chelsea next term. Hiddink replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, but has resisted the urge to remain with the Blues by honouring his commitment with the Russian national team. Beckham has been working with Ancelotti since linking up with Milan in January from LA Galaxy and his only regret is that he is unable to play under his tutorship for years to come. Exceptional "Carlo Ancelotti's man-management skills are exceptional," Beckham told The Sun. "He is a brilliant coach. "To have played under a manager of his quality is a real privilege. He is one of the greats. "I have been lucky in my career to play under a few of the best in the business and he comes into that category. "I just wish I had been able to play for him for many more years. It has been a lot of fun. "Every single one of the Milan players adores him and doesn't want him to go. They are pleading with him to stay. "I know wherever he goes, and whatever he does, he will always have my admiration and respect."
