Bayern back in for Bosingwa

Bayern Munich have reiterated their interest in signing Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa. The Bundesliga giants have made the acquisition of a new right-back one of their summer priorities and Bosingwa is believed to be at the top of incoming coach Louis van Gaal's wish-list. Bayern lost regular right-back Willy Sagnol to retirement towards the end of the last campaign. Portugal international Bosingwa has been at Stamford Bridge for just one season following a £16million move from FC Porto last summer. He made 48 appearances in all competitions and was a key member of the squad under both Luiz Felipe Scolari and Guus Hiddink. "We're holding talks, but we still need the approval of Chelsea," revealed Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He is one of the best right full-backs around."
