Bayern - We want Bosingwa

Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness admits the club are interested in signing Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa. Having already made seven signings over the early part of the summer, Bayern look set to round off a substantial spending spree with a possible move for the Portuguese full-back. Noticeably short of cover in that position, Hoeness admits the club's only requirement is a right-back. Bosingwa, who only signed for the Blues last season, fits the bill perfectly according to the German chief. "Our transfer activities are basically closed, we are only looking at whether there are possibilities for the right-back position," he told Munich's tz newspaper. "We are interested in Bosingwa. That's correct." Hoeness admitted Bayern could loosen their grip on in-demand midfielder Franck Ribery should the right offer be lodged. Despite repeatedly stressing the highly-rated Frenchman is not for sale, Hoeness says the club will consider any "crazy" offers from the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid. "We have said we will only deal under certain conditions," he said. "Namely if the others want to do really crazy things."
