Bayern Munich have confirmed they hope to sign Jose Bosingwa from Chelsea. The German club turned to the 26-year-old after admitting defeat in a bid to sign Glen Johnson from Portsmouth. Chelsea look set to re-sign Johnson for £17million, leaving Bosingwa's future in doubt just a year after joining from Porto for £16m. Sportsmail understands Bayern hope to get the Portugal international for £12m and their general manager Uli Hoeness admitted their intentions. 'Our transfer activity is basically complete,' he told German newspaper Tz. 'We are now only looking at possibilities for right backs. We are interested in Bosingwa, that's true.'
