Chelsea and Manchester United's pursuit of Bastian Schweinsteiger could be doomed to failure after it emerged that the Germany midfielder had asked pals about Real Madrid. [LNB]Bayern Munich are confident they can convince the 26-year-old to sign an extension to the deal that ends in 2012, but the World Cup star is seriously considering a move abroad.
