Baresi - No further exits

AC Milan legend Franco Baresi does not believe further star names will leave San Siro this summer. Kaka's £56million departure to Real Madrid and manager Carlo Ancelotti's move to Chelsea has sparked fears of an exodus at Milan. Alexandre Pato, Gennaro Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo have all been linked with exits, but Baresi is confident the club are instead concentrating on adding to the squad. He said in the Daily Star: "I don't think any more important players will leave AC Milan. "When Kaka left it was felt by the club, the supporters and the players. So now I think no other players will follow, especially the young talents. Now, AC Milan will buy players instead." Meanwhile, reports in Italy claim retired Milan defender Paolo Maldini has been asked to take up a coaching role at Stamford Bridge. The legendary Italian is said to be weighing up the offer of working alongside Ancelotti in West London.
