Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has sparked a transfer scramble among several Premier League clubs after admitting Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Deco are all surplus to requirements.
Ronaldinho and Deco had been expected to be on their way from the Camp Nou after the pair's struggles with form and fitness during the past 18 moths.
Manchester City have made the capture of Brazil star Ronaldinho their priority this summer, while Chelsea are strongly tipped to launch moves to sign both attacking talents with Deco believed to be close to signing for the Stamford Bridge club.
However, the admission from the new Barcelona coach that Eto'o is also available for transfer will alert a host of other clubs.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have already been linked with £25million moves for the Cameroon striker, while the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United, Manchester City and Chelsea could also be interested in one of the most prolific strikers in Europe.
"All the players in the squad last season appeared to me to be of a very high standard," said Guardiola.
"With the technical secretary we are forming a new squad and Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto'o are not in our minds, but we will see how it goes.
"We know clearly who we want to sign and the names of those that will leave, but I am not going to say those names."
