Former Germany captain Michael Ballack is set to hold his farewell game in Leipzig on Wednesday June 5 with stars Jose Mourinho, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba invited.
The 36-year-old midfielder retired from football in October and is planning to host a televised match between his invitation team and a World XI with the proceeds going to charity, the Cologne daily Express reported.
Real Madrid boss Mourinho is reported to be set to coach one of the teams, while Germany stars Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Ozil and goalkeeper Rene Adler have also been invited.
Ballack spent four years at Bayern Munich from 2002, then played for Chelsea between 2006 and 2010 and his former Blues colleagues Cole, Lampard and Drogba are set to attend.
Having made 98 appearances for Germany, Ballack finished his career at Bayer Leverkusen in May when his two-year contract expired.
He was part of the Germany squads which reached the 2002 World Cup final, then finished third in 2006 when the event was hosted by Germany, and captained his country to the Euro 2008 final defeat at the hands of Spain.
Ballack had been offered the chance to win his 99th and final cap in the 3-2 friendly win over Brazil in August 2011, but declined the offer from the German Football Federation (DFB) and head coach Joachim Loew.
