Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack has dismissed criticism of his performances for the Blues since his summer arrival from Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old has scored just four times in 31 appearances for the reigning Premiership champions, but believes that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is satisfied with his form.
He said: "I don't care what people write or say about me. It doesn't bother me.
"There are a load of tabloid newspapers in England which always need something to write and it doesn't particularly bother me.
"Chelsea are double champions and so expectations are high and the expectations grow, especially when you are slightly behind.
"As far as I am concerned, I have integrated well into the team.
"I feel very happy, I've found my role in the team and I have had plenty of confirmation of that, above all from my coach, Jose Mourinho, with whom I talk a lot.
"Naturally, in a team like Chelsea it takes time to perfect your game and play an outstanding role."
