Ashley Cole to miss England v Moldova but John Terry seems fit

Cole sustained his knock during Chelsea's Super Cup defeat to Atletico Madrid on Friday, while Terry had been recuperating from a neck injury he picked up against Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League.
Blues left-back Cole, who was rested by England chief Roy Hodgson for the friendly against Italy last month, was assessed by England's medical staff at the club's Colney training ground on Monday morning before a decision was reached.
It is the latest blow for Hodgson following the withdrawal of West Ham striker Andy Carroll, who is still waiting to discover his fate after picking up a hamstring injury during his debut at Upton Park on Saturday.
A statement from the Football Association read: 'After reporting to the England hotel on Monday morning, Ashley Cole has returned to Chelsea for further treatment.
'Cole has a minor ankle concern and will be treated by his club this week, before being assessed by the England Medical staff on Sunday to see if he is available for the FIFA World Cup qualifier with Ukraine, on Tuesday 11 September.'
The injury has scuppered Cole's hopes of winning his 100th cap against Ukraine at Wembley on Tuesday and will now have to wait until next month before he joins the century club with the defender currently on 98 caps.
He is a regular in the Chelsea physio's room because of the problems he has suffered with ankle injuries in the past, but the extent of this injury is unknown.
Cole often has to ice his ankles after matches and sometimes only trains lightly in the days after big matches with club and country to protect the affected areas.
He is an important part of Hodgson's World Cup qualifying plans, but the left back will not be risked in training if there is a doubt about his fitness for Friday.
The England left back will work with Chelsea physios before lunchtime and will then head to The Grove in Hertforshire to join up with the national team.
Cole, 31, was in the Chelsea side beaten 4-1 in the European Super Cup on Friday night in Monaco and was upset by the manner of the team's performance after Falcao ripped them apart.
The defender claimed it was 'unacceptable' for Chelsea to lose in a manner that is not becoming of last season's Champions League winners.
Terry, meanwhile, looked completely untroubled by his neck injury as he headed several balls during the session of more than an hour.
