Skysports.com understands Nicolas Anelka is to hold talks with Chelsea over a new deal at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have already tied down Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda to new contracts this summer and Anelka could be next in line. Anelka enjoyed his best season to date at Stamford Bridge last term scoring 19 goals and winning the Premier League Golden Boot in the process. The France international has two years to run on his current contract, but the player's agent, Doug Pingisi, has told skysports.com discussions are due to get under way about an extension. "I think we will be having talks with Chelsea next week about Nicolas' contract," Pingisi told skysports.com. "Nicolas has two years left on his present contract and I think Chelsea would like to extend it. "We plan to sit down and have talks with Chelsea about Nicolas' future."
