Nicolas Anelka is confident he can challenge for the Golden Boot again under coach Carlo Ancelotti's new Chelsea formation. The France international topped the Premier League scoring charts last season with 19 goals, despite often being employed out wide in a 4-3-3 formation. New Blues boss Ancelotti has favoured a 4-4-2 system so far in pre-season with Anelka alongside Didier Drogba in a central striking partnership. And the former Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bolton man believes that, given time, the change will pay dividends. "I like the new system, and we just have to learn again to play in this new way," he told the club's official website. Concentrated "Last season I was on my own up front, then on the left and the right, so now I am central with Didier and I think it is going to work well. "After some games I will start to learn a little more this position because we can swap together and I think it will be like when I was on the right, it will take time to get used to but after that it will be OK." The Blues are back in England following their tour of the United States and have one more pre-season clash, against Reading, before they tackle Manchester United in the Community Shield on 9th August. And Anelka is confident his Stamford Bridge team-mates will be fully focused for their clash with the Premier League champions. He added: "It was a good trip to America but now we have to move on, we are back in England and London and we are a little more concentrated because the season is coming soon. "We have to be ready, we have one more game and then in a week it is Manchester United."
