Andre Villas-Boas kicks out Chelsea reserves from main training centre

Andre Villas-Boas has been given the green light to make a series of sweeping changes at Chelsea after kicking out the reserve team from the main training centre. Staff are braced for a major backroom shake-up after Villas-Boas turfed out the reserves on Wednesday because of their failure to make an impact with the first team. Reserve-team coach Dermot Drummy is now under huge pressure to start bringing on young players good enough for first-team selection.
