Ancelotti not rushing Drogba
29 Jan 2010 - 15:09:10
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists there is no reason to rush Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou back into action despite their return from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ancelotti has confirmed that both players have returned to the club following Ivory Coast's exit from the competition.
However, neither will be considered for selection for Saturday's Premier League trip to Burnley.
In their absence, the Blues have scored 17 goals in just four matches, with Frank Lampard bagging five and Nicolas Anelka another three.
"Didier and Kalou came back yesterday and they are well and fit," confirmed Ancelotti.
"But they need to work for some days and so will not able to play tomorrow. They will play on Tuesday against Hull.
"Didier will stay here to train. He has come back very well, also Kalou.
"They are fit but they travelled yesterday and so we don't want to take the risk for the next games."
