Ancelotti demands title focus
11 Apr 2010 - 11:55:17
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has demanded total focus on the Premier League title race despite Saturday's FA Cup semi-final success over Aston Villa.
The cup holders secured a routine return to Wembley to face either Portsmouth or Tottenham in May's showpiece after second-half goals from Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda and Frank Lampard wrapped up a 3-0 victory.
But speaking at full-time, Ancelotti immediately turned his attention to Tuesday's league meeting with Bolton Wanderers.
Chelsea are in control of their own Premier League title destiny as they have a two-point lead over Manchester United with five games remaining in the season.
"It is a good moment for us because we are confident and motivated," said Ancelotti.
"But I don't want to think about what we could win. I want to focus on the next game.
"We are happy to be in the final, now we have five league games to play, starting against Bolton on Tuesday."
