Carlo Ancelotti saw Chelsea complete an historic double at Wembley and immediately set his sights on winning the Champions League next season.

Didier Drogba scored the only goal from a free-kick as Chelsea beat Portsmouth 1-0 in the FA Cup final to go with the Premier League title they won a week ago.

Ancelotti said: "Chelsea have never won the Champions League and it will be one of our aims for next season. But the Premier League and the FA Cup will also be important. We wanted to win the Champions League this season but this team has the quality to win the Champions League without any changes. But today was a fantastic victory. We have to be happy for these trophies."

Chelsea completely dominated the first half during which they hit the woodwork five times.

"That was strange," said Ancelotti.

"It has never happened in my career to hit five posts in one half. Then we didn't start the second half well and the match was not in control.

"But I was not worried because the team were playing a good match and we had a lot of chances."

Ancelotti confirmed midfielder Michael Ballack should be fit to play in the World Cup for Germany after limping off with an ankle injury following a lunge by Boateng which earned the Portsmouth man a yellow card.

The Chelsea boss also revealed he expected the pressure to increase next season after slotting into English football so triumphantly in his first season.

Ancelotti said: "Pressure is normal. It will put more pressure on us but we are proud to have this attention. We want to win again next year but the most important thing is to do our best."
