Ancelotti on brink of Chelsea move as Milan prepare to hand reins to Leonardo

Carlo Ancelotti moved a step closer to joining Chelsea with the news that AC Milan are expected to name former Brazil international Leonardo as their new coach on Monday. Leonardo, currenty the club's technical director, has already made plans to attend a UEFA coaching course next month to gain the necessary coaching qualifications. Sunday's Serie A game againmst Fiorentina seems likely to be Ancelotti's farewell after six years in charge at the San Siro. Leonardo had two spells with Milan as a player and would be a popular choice with the Rossoneri's supporters. Sportsmail understands that Ancelotti will be unveiled as the new manager at Stamford Bridge following the Blues' FA Cup final showdown with Everton at Wembley.
