Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti insists Blues owner Roman Abramovich is not obsessed with winning the Champions League.[LNB] It has been reported that the Russian is desperate for European success, but Ancelotti insists that is not the case.[LNB]Chelsea begin their latest quest against MSK Zilina on Wednesday, but Ancelotti insists that there is no mounting pressure on him to take European football's top club prize.[LNB]"I speak with Roman a lot, but he is not obsessed with the Champions League," he said.[LNB]"He wants to win everything, but he's not desperate. I don't have pressure from outside.[LNB]"I want to put myself under pressure because I want to win, he wants a team with a clear identity and we have created that.[LNB]"The normal step for players in this situation is to think about winning the Champions League.[LNB]"The players have reached the semi- final five times and one final. They deserve it, but only if you do it better than others."[LNB]And Ancelotti is adamant that retaining the Premier League title he won at the first attempt last season is just as important.[LNB]"I don't want to think that the Champions League is more important than the Premier League. Both are very important. Last season we won the PL," he said.[LNB]"We don't want to say the Premier League is not very important - we would like to win it again. But the normal step is to do things better than we did last season in the Champions League. We went out too early.[LNB]"Our aim is to improve our type of play, to have more continuity to do better and to stay involved."[LNB]And while some are calling on England to ditch the likes of John Terry and Frank Lampard, Ancelotti feels they could just be entering their prime.[LNB]"The physical training has improved a lot compared to 20 years ago. I think 30 years old is the right moment," he said.[LNB]"When I was a player, the best year of my career was when I was 30."[LNB]Meanwhile, Ancelotti has confirmed that Terry is a doubt for their opening game with Zilina after hurting his rib in the win over West Ham on Saturday.[LNB]"His rib is not broken, but he is in discomfort. We will assess him in the next couple of days," he said.
