Ancelotti in Ribery hint

New Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has hinted at an interest in Franck Ribery but appears resigned to the Frenchman staying at Bayern Munich. The Blues have already brought Ross Turnbull, Daniel Sturridge and Yuri Zhirkov to Stamford Bridge this summer. Ancelotti has confirmed he remains in the market for additions and has outlined his plans to bring in a creative player. Ribery has been strongly linked with a move away from Bayern, with Real Madrid considered the favourites to land his signature. Bayern, though, have remained adamant that Ribery is not for sale, and Ancelotti seems to have accepted he may be forced to look elsewhere for reinforcements. "Chelsea are a strong team, a physical team doing very well," said the Italian, who was unveiled to the media on Monday. "They can be improved with some creative players. We are looking for these creative players. "Ribery is, for sure, a great, great player. But Ribery, I think, he will stay in Bayern Munich. Unfazed "Madrid can buy Ribery, I know. Not only Ribery, but (Liverpool midfielder) Alonso as well. I know how many players Madrid can buy." Meanwhile, Bayern's Mark van Bommel has insisted his team-mates remain unfazed by the speculation surrounding Ribery's future. He told Bayerischer Rundfunk: "No one from the squad is able to change a thing about the rumours, like now in the case of Franck (Ribery). "And it would definitely be better for the club if such things are sorted out soon. But the team is handling this quite fine, we are very relaxed. "Clubs are able to do transfers until late August, that's pretty much crazy since at that point in time we are well back on the pitch playing important fixtures."
