Ancelotti calls for Blues performance

Carlo Ancelotti admits Chelsea need to prove themselves in the Champions League this year after so far failing to land Europe's top prize.[LNB] Ancelotti says Chelsea do deserve to win Europe's top club prize, but they cannot look back at the past.[LNB]Chelsea came within one kick of winning the Champions League in 2008 when John Terry missed his penalty in the shoot-out loss to Manchester United.[LNB]Ancelotti is now looking for his side to show they are capable of winning the Champions League.[LNB]"This club deserves to win the Champions League. But to win, you have to deserve it not for the past, but we have to do it for the present," he said in the Sun.[LNB]"I haven't spoken about the past. But I know how it feels. I can say that for me it was a good experience because two years after Milan lost, we had our revenge against Liverpool.[LNB]"If you have the time to wait, the passion to wait, the revenge arrives, always. I'm sure these players will have their revenge.[LNB]"I don't know if I will be here for it, but these players will have their revenge, they will win the Champions League."
