Alex eager to extend Chelsea stay and be a Blue for life
Chelsea's Brazilian defender Alex has wants to finish his career at Stamford Bridge. [LNB]The centre-half joined the Blues on the eve of the 2007 Barclays Premier League season after three years playing in Holland at PSV Eindhoven.[LNB] The 28-year-old Brazil international signed a new deal last season to extend his stay for a further four years and now says that he wants to remain at the club for life. [LNB] Going nowhere: Alex is determined to finish his playing days with Chelsea[LNB]'To be here is a good feeling, it's very important for me and I'm very happy,' said Alex. [LNB]'In my career I never expected this, that one day I would come to play in England for a big team like Chelsea, and complete 100 games. [LNB]'I'm very happy and hope to stay here for a long, long time and play for 200 or 300 games. This season I have been here longer than PSV, it feels like home and I hope I can stay here for the rest of my career.'[LNB] Meanwhile, Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba is determined to end Liverpool's mini-revival after grabbing his first European goal of the season for Chelsea in their 4-1 Champions League success over Spartak Moscow.
