Alarm bells! Gerrard return raises hopes of a Liverpool fightback miracle

Guus Hiddink has admitted that Chelsea's defensive frailties could stop them storming into the Champions League semi-finals.

Despite the 3-1 advantage they take into tonight's quarter-final second leg against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, the interim manager fears a repeat of the mistakes made in the 4-3 win over Bolton on Saturday.

They conceded three goals in nine minutes then with John Terry in the side, and will have to do without their captain, who is suspended, as Steven Gerrard returns to Rafael Benitez's attack tonight.
